BeMee does not organize, monitor, or assume responsibility for the safety, location, or conduct of in-person meetings. BeMee is not responsible for the behavior of users during in-person meetings. Interactions outside the digital environment of the platform are the sole responsibility of the individuals involved.
Terms and Conditions
These terms represent a legally binding agreement between you and BeMee, operated by Iteca, Tomaž Ornik s.p., tax number: 23891084, address: Zgornja Velka 93 d, 2213 Zgornja Velka, Slovenia, registration number: 8902569000 (hereinafter referred to as Iteca Solutions), a company registered in Slovenia. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the BeMee platform, create an account, or use the application, and you must immediately cease its use.
These terms are drafted in the Slovenian language. In the event of any discrepancies between the Slovenian version and translations into other languages, the Slovenian version shall prevail as authoritative.
Terms of Use and Account Registration
Age Restriction
BeMee is intended exclusively for individuals at least 18 years of age. By registering or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the platform or creating an account.
Account Creation
To access certain features, registration is required, during which you must provide accurate and complete information. You set your username and password in the first step of registration. The account must be activated via email confirmation before you can proceed with completing your profile and using all the platform’s features.
One Account Rule
Each user may create only one account with a unique email address. Creating multiple accounts or registering on behalf of another person without their express consent is prohibited and may lead to account termination. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities performed under your account.
Digital Assets and Inheritance Rules
A BeMee account is strictly personal and non-transferable. In the event of a user’s death, the account will be permanently deleted upon official notice. Access to private messages by third parties (including heirs) is not permitted to protect the privacy of other users.
Personal Use
The platform is intended exclusively for personal use. Use by legal entities or for commercial purposes is not permitted unless expressly authorized by BeMee.
Description of Service
BeMee is a social and dating platform that connects users through a shared database between the BeMee website and partner sites (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). The Platform offers the following:
- Free Features: Basic functionalities, such as viewing profiles, are available to all registered users free of charge.
- Premium Features: Advanced functionalities, such as expanded communication tools, messaging, and increased profile visibility, are available to users who purchase a subscription (“Membership”) or virtual currency (“BeMee Coins”).
BeMee does not guarantee successful connections, the accuracy of data provided by users, or the suitability of contacts established through the platform. Users use the platform at their own risk. BeMee only provides a platform for meeting people. We do not guarantee that the use of the service will lead to a successful match, relationship, or in-person meeting. The number and quality of interactions depend on the activity and behavior of the users themselves.
Liability for “Loss of Opportunity”
BeMee assumes no responsibility for any lost opportunity, emotional distress, or failed personal plans resulting from technical errors or the operation of the platform.
User Conduct and Content
General Rules
You agree to use the platform in accordance with these terms and the applicable legislation of the Republic of Slovenia. You are solely responsible for the content you post, share, or send, including text, images, and videos. By posting a video or image, the user confirms that they have the permission of all persons appearing in the video or image. BeMee does not perform prior editorial control over all messages in real-time. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
- Posting or sharing content that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or illegal.
- Including personal contact information (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) in profiles or initial messages, unless permitted after mutual contact has been established.
- Engaging in commercial activities, such as advertising or offering services, without prior approval from BeMee. Using profiles for the purpose of gaining followers on other social networks, promoting commercial services, or direct sales of products is strictly prohibited.
- Uploading viruses, malicious software, or any content that could harm the platform or its users. If such actions are detected, a minimum fine of €1,000,000 is established. The final amount of the fine is determined based on a comprehensive assessment of the damage caused.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the brand owner, its co-owners, or affiliated partners shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses) arising from the use or inability to use the BeMee platform. The total liability of the brand owner for any claims arising from the use of the service is in all cases limited to the amount actually paid by the user to the company for the use of premium services in the last six (6) months prior to the occurrence of the damaging event. If the user only uses free features, the liability of the brand owner is limited to the minimum legally permissible amount or is null.
Intellectual Property
By submitting content to the BeMee platform, you grant the company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You warrant that your content does not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties and that you have acquired all necessary rights for its use.
By uploading content to the platform, the user warrants that the content does not contain elements that would violate the right to privacy or personality rights of third parties (e.g., photos of persons who have not consented to publication).
Content Moderation
BeMee reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate. BeMee is not responsible for user-generated content or its accuracy.
Liability for “Background Content” (Metadata)
The user acknowledges that photos may contain location metadata. BeMee assumes no responsibility for any disclosure of location originating from metadata in files uploaded by the user.
Prohibition of “Deepfake” and AI-Generated Persons
The use of AI-generated images (Deepfakes) or the creation of profiles of non-existent persons is strictly prohibited. Each profile must represent a real, living person who matches the submitted identification documents.
Right to “Correction of Data” in Messages
The right to correction refers to profile data. To ensure the authenticity of communication and user safety, BeMee does not allow subsequent modification of the content of already sent private messages.
“Test Profiles” Clause for Security and App Testing
BeMee reserves the right to use internal test profiles exclusively for the purposes of ensuring security, technical integrity, and detecting violations of the terms of use. Services are provided ‘as is’. BeMee does not guarantee that the operation of the application will always be error-free, secure, or timely. The user agrees that occasional technical issues do not constitute a breach of contract by the brand owner. BeMee assumes no responsibility for any non-pecuniary or pecuniary damage resulting from technical disturbances, application downtime, or loss of data in chats.
Liability for “Inappropriate Use in Public”
The user undertakes to use the platform in a manner that does not violate public order and peace and does not encroach upon the rights of third parties who are not users of the application.
Prohibition of “Scraping” and Data Mining
Any automated data collection (web scraping), mining, or copying of platform content without the express written permission of the brand owner is strictly prohibited and is considered a violation of intellectual property.
Privacy and Data Protection
BeMee processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which you acknowledge and accept upon confirming these terms. Key points include:
- Confidentiality: BeMee treats your personal data as confidential and uses it only for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Cookies and Tracking: The platform uses cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience and analyze usage. You can manage cookie settings through your browser.
- Sharing with Third Parties: BeMee does not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law or necessary to provide the service.
- User Responsibility: You acknowledge that sharing personal information with other users is at your own risk. BeMee is not responsible for any misuse of data that you disclose yourself. Unauthorized dissemination, publication, or sharing of private conversations, photos, or profiles of other users outside the BeMee platform without their express consent is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule results in immediate account termination and full liability for damages by the violator toward the aggrieved person.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the company or brand or part of its assets, your personal data and rights under these terms are transferred to the new owner, provided that they ensure the same level of data protection. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Ownership of Intellectual Property
Platform Content
All software, design, text, images, and other materials on the platform, except for user-generated content, are owned by Iteca Solutions or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited. Images used within the application are sourced from the website freepik.com.
Trademarks
“BeMee” and its associated marks are trademarks of Iteca Solutions. Partner trademarks displayed on linked websites are the property of their respective rights holders.
User Content
You retain ownership of the content you provide; however, you grant BeMee the license described above. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated, please contact us via our support channel.
Prohibition of “Reverse Engineering”
Users are strictly prohibited from decompiling, analyzing the source code, or any attempt at reverse engineering the BeMee platform for the purpose of copying features or creating a competing product.
Safety and Interactions
Assumption of Risk
By assuming risk, you acknowledge all potential dangers associated with interactions with other users online or in person, including dates or personal meetings. BeMee does not perform background checks on users nor does it verify the accuracy of the data in their profiles.
Safety Precautions
You agree to be cautious when sharing personal information or during personal meetings with other users. BeMee offers safety guidelines that are recommended to be followed.
No Guarantee
BeMee does not endorse and does not guarantee the behavior, compatibility, or intentions of any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other persons.
Account Termination and Suspension
By BeMee
BeMee may temporarily disable or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these terms, engage in illegal activities, or use the platform in a manner deemed harmful or inappropriate. Account termination may result in the loss of all data, including virtual currency and purchased benefits, without the right to a refund.
By the User
You may deactivate your account at any time through the account settings or by contacting us via the support channel. Deactivating the account does not automatically cancel recurring subscriptions.
Archiving by Official Duty (Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act)
Upon exercising the right to erasure, BeMee will remove all profile data, except for those it is legally required to keep for accounting and tax audit purposes (e.g., data on issued invoices).
“Dead Man’s Switch” (Erasure due to Inactivity)
BeMee reserves the right to delete accounts and all associated data if the user has not logged into the application for more than 12 consecutive months. Before erasure, the user will be notified at their registered email address.
Payments and Subscriptions
Membership Subscriptions
Premium features are accessible through paid membership subscriptions, available for various periods (e.g., monthly, three-month). Prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation instructions are available in your account settings.
The user agrees that by beginning to use digital content (e.g., redeeming BeMee Coins or accessing premium features), they waive their right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, provided the service has already been fully performed.
Payment Methods
Supported payment methods include:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Automatic Renewal): Mastercard and Visa. Automatic renewal can be cancelled in the account settings.
- Mobile Payments (e.g., Apple and Google Pay): Available through selected providers (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay). Automatic renewal cancellation options vary depending on the provider.
- Cryptocurrencies: We also accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option for premium features and services. Currently accepted currencies are BTC, ETH, XRP, XLM, and USDC. All cryptocurrency transactions are final and non-refundable due to the irreversible nature of blockchain technology. Please carefully verify the amount and wallet address before completing the transaction. By using cryptocurrency payments, you agree to these terms and assume full responsibility for the accuracy of your payment data. BeMee reserves the right to further verify the source of funds for large cryptocurrency purchases or in case of suspicion of unusual transactions. In the event of suspected money laundering, we will notify the competent state authorities.
Prices for our services are dynamic and are determined at the time of purchase based on your permanent address or country of residence. The final subscription amount is directly linked to the tax legislation of your country, as Value Added Tax (VAT) rates vary between countries. At the same time, the subscription cost is adjusted to the specifics of your local market and purchasing power in your country, as we want to ensure the accessibility of the BeMee service to all users. By using the application, you confirm that your location data is accurate, as we calculate your final costs and ensure compliance with local regulations based on this information.
Electronic invoices are issued and sent via email upon request. All payment transactions are final and non-refundable. Your subscription renews automatically, but you can cancel it at any time.
BeMee Coins
Introduction
Virtual Voucher (BeMee Coins)
BeMee Voucher – Multi-purpose voucher according to Article 13.a of the ZDDV-1
The BeMee voucher is a multi-purpose voucher within the meaning of Article 13.a of the Value Added Tax Act (ZDDV-1). By purchasing BeMee coins, the user acquires the right to use services within the BeMee application.
The tax liability (VAT) arises only upon the redemption of the voucher for an individual service. Upon the purchase of the voucher, a confirmation of purchase without VAT is issued at the user’s request. Upon redemption of the voucher for a service, an invoice with VAT charged is issued.
The BeMee voucher is not money, is not a cryptocurrency, and cannot be paid out in cash.
BeMee Coins can be purchased to access certain features, such as sending virtual gifts or increasing profile visibility. Key conditions:
- BeMee Coins are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- BeMee Coins do not expire as long as the account is active. Upon account deletion (whether by the user or due to inactivity after 12 months), all unused BeMee Coins expire without the possibility of a refund.
- Upon deleting your account, you will lose all BeMee Coins without the possibility of a refund.
- BeMee Coins have no real monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
BeMee Coins are a virtual currency used on the BeMee platform (bemee.si and the BeMee app). These terms govern the use of BeMee Coins, which provide access to premium features such as increased profile visibility, virtual gifts, super likes, and other functionalities described at bemee.si/en/bemee-coins. By using BeMee Coins, you agree to these terms.

Purchasing BeMee Coins
- BeMee Coins can be purchased through the platform’s store using payment methods such as credit cards or other available options.
- Prices and packages are displayed in the application. All purchases are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise provided by law (e.g., the 14-day withdrawal period for distance purchases under EU consumer law). In the event of prolonged technical unavailability of premium features lasting more than 48 hours, the user is entitled to a proportional extension of the subscription, which represents their sole and exclusive remedy.
- The operator reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, which does not affect purchases already made.
Using BeMee Coins

BeMee Coins are non-transferable and are valid only for use on the platform. Their use is limited to the features available at the time of use.
Restrictions and Conditions
- Prohibited Misuse: BeMee Coins may not be used for illegal or inappropriate activities, including harassing other users or violating platform rules.
- Validity: BeMee Coins, whether earned or purchased, do not have an expiration date unless the operator notifies otherwise at least 30 days in advance. If you delete your account, you will also lose all unused BeMee Coins.
- Non-refundable: Purchased BeMee Coins are non-refundable, except in the case of the legally prescribed 14-day withdrawal period for distance purchases… unless the service has already been fully performed. If the service has already been performed, refunds are not possible.
- To exercise this right, please contact support.
- Termination of Service: In the event of the termination of the platform or service, the operator does not guarantee a refund for unused BeMee Coins.
BeMee is not liable for failure to perform obligations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, large-scale cyberattacks, power grid or internet outages).
Prohibition of Prostitution and Escorting
Use of the platform for prostitution, escort services, or any exchange of sexual services for payment, whether monetary or in-kind, is strictly prohibited. Any user found to be engaging in such activities will be immediately removed from the platform, and the case may be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
All reports of prostitution, escorting, or human trafficking are addressed immediately. Confirmed violations lead to account termination, removal of content, and, where necessary, notification of law enforcement.
Violation Reporting Policy
The platform features a clearly visible “Report Abuse” button on every profile, allowing users to quickly flag behavior or content that violates the terms of use, community guidelines, or legal requirements. All received reports are promptly reviewed by our team of human moderators to ensure accuracy and fairness. Users who repeatedly violate the rules or post content confirmed to be objectionable may be temporarily suspended or permanently removed. This reporting system ensures a safe, respectful, and reliable environment for all platform users.
“Ghosting” and Psychological Integrity (Abuse of the Reporting System)
Abuse of the reporting system (submitting intentionally false reports against other users) is considered a severe violation of the terms and may result in the immediate termination of the reporter’s account.
Right to “Human Intervention” in Blockages
In the event of account suspension or termination, the user has the right to an explanation and an appeal within 14 days, which will be reviewed by an independent person within the moderation team.
Content Moderation and the No-Compensation Rule
All content on the platform, including profile data, photos, messages, and posts, is subject to strict human moderation. Our team manually reviews every piece of submitted content to ensure compliance with community guidelines, safety standards, and legal obligations.
The platform consistently enforces a no-compensation rule: users may not offer, request, or promote sexual services, prostitution, escort services, or any content involving the exchange of sexual activities for money, gifts, or other compensation. Any violation of this rule leads to the immediate termination or suspension of the account and may be reported to law enforcement.
This combination of diligent content moderation and a strict no-compensation rule ensures a safe, respectful, and authentic environment for all members seeking sincere connections.
No Ads for Escorting or Prostitution
The platform strictly prohibits all advertisements, promotions, or solicitations related to escort services, prostitution, or any sexual services in exchange for payment. Users may not post such content in profiles, messages, galleries, or any other part of the application. Any violation leads to the immediate removal of content, suspension, or termination of the account, and the case may be reported to law enforcement. This policy ensures a safe, reliable, and authentic environment focused on genuine social and romantic connections.
Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation Prevention Policy
The platform has a zero-tolerance policy toward human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or any activities related to the coercion or exploitation of individuals. All profiles, messages, and content are carefully monitored through manual human and AI moderation to detect and prevent potential signs of trafficking or exploitation. Users are strictly prohibited from promoting, facilitating, or participating in any form of human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
Any suspicious activity is immediately investigated, and accounts linked to violations are permanently removed. Furthermore, relevant reports are promptly forwarded to the competent law enforcement authorities to ensure the safety and protection of all users. This policy confirms the platform’s commitment to creating a safe, protected, and ethical environment for authentic social and romantic interactions.
Law Enforcement Cooperation Protocol
The platform fully cooperates with law enforcement authorities to ensure user safety and compliance with applicable legislation. Any content or user activity that violates the law, including human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or illegal advertising of sexual services, is immediately reported.
When requested by law enforcement, the platform provides the necessary data, including user information, activity logs, and content records, to assist in investigations. Users found to be involved in illegal or harmful activities may be immediately suspended or permanently removed and held accountable by law. This protocol ensures a safe environment and supports authorities in preventing and investigating criminal acts.
Supervision of Minors and Verification of Consent
The platform consistently implements rules to protect minors and ensure that all interactions occur with full, informed consent. To register, a user must be at least 18 years old, and all profile content, photos, and other information are manually reviewed by our moderation team to verify age and authenticity.
Any content or behavior suggesting the involvement of minors or involuntary activity is immediately flagged, reviewed, and removed. Accounts associated with such violations are permanently banned, and the case may be forwarded to law enforcement. These procedures ensure a safe, responsible, and respectful environment where all interactions are age-appropriate and based on consent.
To ensure the authenticity and safety of all users, the platform requires email verification as well as ID verification along with a selfie later in the app. Users must submit a valid government-issued ID and take a real-time selfie to confirm their identity. Biometric data collected for verification purposes is not used for other purposes and may be deleted [e.g., within 30 days] after successful identity confirmation.
Our moderation team manually reviews all submitted materials to verify that the ID matches the user and confirms that the selfie shows a living person, preventing fraud, fake profiles, and identity theft. Accounts that do not pass verification or attempt to bypass it are rejected or permanently suspended. This process ensures a safe and reliable environment, allowing all members to be authentic and accountable.
Liability for Fake “Verification Badges”
A verification badge only confirms that the user submitted the required documents at the time of verification. BeMee does not guarantee the future behavior of verified users or their permanent identity beyond the scope of the completed process.
Changes to the Service
BeMee may modify, temporarily suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without prior notice. Significant changes affecting your access or use will be clearly communicated. If these changes materially impact your experience, you may terminate your account. All payment transactions are final and non-refundable.
Third-Party Links
The platform may include links to third-party websites or services. BeMee is not responsible for the availability, content, or accuracy of these external resources. BeMee does not control the content of external websites linked by users. Access to these sites is exclusively at the user’s own risk.
Technical Support
Support is available from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central European Time (CET) via the support channel. The platform operates 24/7; however, BeMee does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
Liability for “Technical Obsolescence” of Devices
The user is solely responsible for ensuring hardware and software that meet the current technical requirements of the platform. Application updates may lead to incompatibility with older devices, which does not constitute a ground for a refund.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the platform shall be exclusively resolved by the competent court in Maribor, Slovenia.
Consumer Disputes
BeMee does not recognize providers of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes under the Consumer Protection Act. EU citizens may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
Changes to the Terms
BeMee reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to change or supplement these general terms at any time. Any update will be published on this page and takes effect immediately upon publication. The user is solely responsible for regularly monitoring the current version of the terms of use. Continued use of the platform after the publication of changes is considered your irrevocable acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the amended terms, you must immediately stop using the BeMee service and delete your account. BeMee reserves the right to change the range of free and premium features at any time.
Acceptance of Terms
